The Brain Machine
Rhythms of the Mind, 2022
The Brain Machine Project aims to visualise the changes within our mind. Through a series of tests that look to provoke a reaction from the brain, a language is formed where drawings are created and spaces can be generated. This method proposes a new way of designing that uses the rhythms of the brain as a drawing tool.

This project is all about the process and not about a specific end result. The outcomes are a snapshot of a moment in time as part of a process and the creation of the mechanism. It is an exploration into how different props can help us to evoke a reaction within a continuous rhythm that is within us, and how we can use those reactions as a device to design.
